Engineered to tackle the toughest industrial air quality challenges, the Smokeeter CC and DC models are the ultimate solution for environments where welding smoke, fumes, and particulates are prevalent.
Designed specifically for industrial applications such as auto body shops, schools, and manufacturing facilities, these powerful smoke eaters deliver unparalleled performance and reliability.
The CC and DC models are tailored to meet the unique demands of various industrial settings. While both models are designed for ceiling-mounted installation, ensuring optimal air circulation and distribution, they differ in their air handling capacities to accommodate spaces of varying sizes.
The DC smoke eaters are the larger of the two, featuring a two-cell wide configuration that enables an impressive air handling capacity ranging from 2,000 to 2,200 CFM. This robust performance makes the DC model the ideal choice for larger industrial rooms, where extensive air cleaning is required to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
On the other hand, the CC units are designed for smaller industrial spaces, offering a more compact one-cell wide configuration with an air handling capacity of 1,000 to 1,200 CFM. Despite their smaller size, these units pack a powerful punch, delivering exceptional air cleaning performance tailored to the specific needs of smaller workshops or production areas.
How CC and DC Smokeeters Work
1. The motor/blower intakes polluted air through a mesh pre-filter.
2. The pre-filter traps larger particulate.
3. The ionizer than gives the particles an intense positive charge.
4. The positively charged particles are then collected by oppositely charged plates.
5. Cleaned air is then exhausted through a carbon after-filter for odor control.
6. The cleaned air is then redistributed by adjustable diffuser vanes.
